Jessica is a...

We were playing charades tonight. On my turn, I was merely sitting there thinking of what to be- and my family decides I am already acting and start to bombard me with things that are big and round. Rhet thought if he kept screaming, "Buddha" that suddenly I would say, "Yes, honey, you are right, that is exactly who I am". Dorkus. I finally had to tell him to guess something else or I was going to throw something at him. (it is my new threat, cause that way I don't have to get up)... so, here are some things that apply to a hugely pregnant lady that is playing charades and doesn't want to get up to act anything out....

Next week, if I haven't had a child- I will educate my friends and family on ways to overcome severe pregnancy depression without using medication. So far, I have a few examples:
*Naps even when you aren't tired (with the door locked and fan on)
*Overeating to where it hurts and causes you to now think of your indigestion.
*Eating sweets, including RootBeer, kids Halloween candy from a party, Little Debbies swiss cake rolls, Fudge Rounds, frosting, chocolate chip cookie dough, and mint double stuff oreos. Best effect is to gourge all of the above at one time.
*Endless hours of TV, especially TLC's Baby Story, Discovery Health's Special Delivery, Bringing Home Baby, Jon and Kate plus 8, and the Real ER (this last one doesn't really help, but you won't want to have the baby at the hospital any time soon).
*Restaurants, frozen meals, and paper plates.
*Read books, books, and more books- not worrying about other priorities, engagements, or responsibilities.
*Check email subject lines before reading. Beware of subjects starting with, "just wondering..." or "haven't heard anything yet" or "how are you..."
*NEVER answer the phone. It is now your enemy!!!
*and finally, don't cancel all your previous plans because you thought you would be at home with a baby. Then you really will have nothing to do.
Of course, none of these situations or suggestions apply to me right now. They would only be used in the extreme event that I didn't have Colby by next week. Of course.
