Need help with baby name!

We have been able to see the baby a lot because we have had so many ultrasounds. The doctor is concerned that the baby and I are too big for where we should be. A lot of friends are sure that we are having twins- but I assure you that there is only one baby to be seen. It is pretty bad when the doctor is talking to the sonographer and says on the phone, "This patient is huge!" Especially, when that patient happens to be within earshot. Inconsiderate man. (That is the edited version)

Anyway, besides some extra backache and swelling- Rhet and I are excited. Now, if we could only figure out a name. We have an (A) Alexis, (B) Benjamin, and (D) Daisy- so a (C) name would fit well- but isn't necessary. So feel free to comment any wonderful names that you want to give us.

P.S. Can't be boring, crazy, too common, unpronounceable, nothing that could also be used as a girl's name, nothing that has "-er" on the end (Tucker), nothing that is just a letter (sorry, J Rhet and J Benjamin), nothing that starts with "T", no Carson or Carter (family names)

[4-D The baby's hands are
making weird shapes on
the chin and forehead.]

Do you want the joke ones first or the real ones? Jokingly I was thinking Olaf or Draco. Real suggestions: Seth, Brendon, Tate (you might think that one funny, but I knew someone with that name and it grew on me. Don't know that I'll ever use it, but you know). I think Hunter is cute, but alas that one ends in -er. None of those start with C, and more than likely you and/or Rhet won't like any of them, but that's usually how it goes with most baby names. At least for us. :)

I understand not wanting an -er first name. I think that if we have a boy, some names will automatically be ruled out because of our last name, too. I don't know that Hunter Rhodes would work so well...

I couldn't see part of your post because your music playlist is blocking it...but I'm guessing from Dantzel's comment that you don't want the first name to end in "er" so I guess that rules out Carter so that is great because if we happen to ever have another child and it is a boy we will probably use that name...anyways moving on to you.

My suggestions for C names are Caleb, Camden, Cache

And for other names not starting with C-Dakota, Hudson, Blake, and Wyatt

Think about it-let me know!

Well considering your sister covered every C name there is (i assume) i dont have any suggestions there.

But by way of other names: Jackson, and im having a brain problem...i cant think of any right now. I will let you know later.

But i will say that i heard a quite interesting one yesterday at work...i dont know if you are ready for this "suggestion" but....Rock. Thats right, name your kid Rock. Ha.

I totally agree with you on the no "er" names.... You have the same phenomena we have in that your last name could be used as a first name. So, it makes most names that end in "er" sound like last names to me. We obviously could never use the suggested "Hunter" as a first name. Although, my roommate did marry a man named David David. No joke. His middle name was Paul, but he still went by David.

Of that huge list I think Caleb is cute & it goes with Benjamin too.
By the way, congrats!! I'm so excited for you.... and all I can say is don't listen to the doctor! They put me on the strictest of diets because they too were worried she would be too big. So, I followed the diet & lost weight each time I went in & my baby ended up being early & 5 pounds.... Man, should've had that extra piece of banana bread.
