AND THE HUSBAND OF THE YEAR GOES TO?
My husband is wonderful. Sensitive, caring, compassionate, helpful, smart, a great dad, thoughtful, and handsome. HOWEVER, I am going to have to give the man of the year award to...
my brother-in-law, Brett.
Pictures speak a thousand words- but let me tell you about this man:
He does the dishes. Not, I'll do them tonight, but you owe me one. Not, you are pregnant and throwing up, so I'll do it. Not, its your birthday, I'll help you with the dishes. Not, I'll do the dishes if I can go watch a football game at a friends house. Not, I'll do the dishes if I can have the last piece of pie.
He does them on a REGULAR basis.
Says he doesn't mind doing them. Doesn't mind? Does this man really exist. Yes, I have personally seen it. Day after day of dish washing. Not one dish dinners- but huge family gatherings with sticky, gooey pans and tons of side dishes; a plate, bowl, and more than one utensil for each of the 15 people.
OK, so he isn't smiling. But is that really important?
Congratulations, Brett.
The award...
A night of eating out!

Yep. I was hoping just being there - and having Grampy see Brett in action would make some kind of impact...hmmm...no. Not yet. ;)
That is a great man, right there!
